Kerri Schroder is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 30 years of experience providing psychological care across private practice, hospital, community mental health, and social service settings. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida and both her Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Kent State University. Kerri completed her postdoctoral training at Sagamore Hills Children’s Psychiatric Hospital, where she later served as the lead psychologist for the adolescent girls’ unit.

Kerri is known for her thoughtful, individualized approach and her ability to help clients navigate life’s most complex challenges with clarity and resilience. Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Her current focus is supporting clients through significant life transitions such as bariatric surgery, college adjustment, career changes, divorce, retirement, menopause, and aging. She draws from multiple therapeutic modalities—including psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and interpersonal psychotherapy—to meet the unique needs of each client.

In addition to her therapy work, Kerri has extensive experience conducting psychological assessments, including pre-surgical bariatric evaluations, forensic assessments, and therapy consultations.
