Are you collaborative, compassionate, and pride yourself on providing high-quality care? We are growing and need a team player to come on board! We’re looking for a fully licensed LCSW or LCMHC (North Carolina license) to join our dynamic interdisciplinary practice in beautiful coastal Wilmington, North Carolina.
At Chrysalis Center, we strive to restore hope and empower change by providing the highest standard of care for mental illness, eating disorders, and overall wellness. Our team consists of mental health therapists, registered dietitians, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and a full-time administrative staff dedicated to helping our clients find the support they need in their recovery journey. While our outpatient office welcomes clients of all ages and diagnoses, we are accredited by The Joint Commission and are licensed by the state as a facility to also provide day treatment for adults with eating disorders. Eating disorder experience is not required but is preferred.
By joining our team, you’d be a W2 employee of a locally owned and operated business that was founded in 2003. As a clinician of Chrysalis, credentialing, billing, and administrative support is provided. We are a well-established practice with ample referrals to fill your schedule. You’ll also receive a professional development stipend to use for any expenses related to maintaining your license, liability insurance, or attending continuing education. Our clinicians are paid via a fee-for-service model so you can determine how much you’ll work. Our clinical team is required to participate in collaborative staff meetings to ensure that we are providing high-quality care to all clients who come to our facility.
Summary:
To provide therapy in a multi-specialty outpatient group practice and to participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and collaboration while maintaining good standing with one’s governing licensure board.
Essential Functions:

- Provide individual, group and family therapy in accordance with the Chrysalis Center standard of client care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of new clients utilizing Chrysalis Center’s intake protocol and develop a comprehensive treatment plan for any new client.
- Create and update treatment plans and create a discharge summary for all outpatient clients.
- Provide information collaboratively in treatment plans for IOP clients when needed. (IOP Staff only)
- Document in the medical record according to the requirements of regulatory agencies.
- Develop and maintain therapeutic rapport among clients.
- Show evidence of clinical performance in occupancy data from clinical schedule and intake retention.
- Show evidence of skills needed to deescalate clients who are in distress. Be able to refer to the appropriate level of care or crisis management intervention.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
- Engage in consultation with all members of the team.
- Participate in twice monthly case staffing meetings.
- If involved in IOP, facilitate groups according to approved group curriculum and engage participants.
- Maintain confidentiality, HIPAA standards, and client rights at all times.
- Demonstrate knowledge of, and supports, Chrysalis Center’s mission, vision, values, standards, policies & procedures, confidentiality standards, and codes of ethical behaviors.

Registered Dietitian:
The Chrysalis Center is looking for a Registered Dietician to join our thriving team in coastal Wilmington, NC. We strive to restore hope and empower change by providing expert level, evidence-based health care and multidisciplinary eating disorder treatment. Founded in 2003, we are a locally owned business accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by the state to provide comprehensive eating disorder treatment. We run both outpatient and IOP (Intensive Outpatient) programming while providing our clinicians with ample referrals and full administrative support.
As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition advice and guidance to patients. Dietitians at Chrysalis Center provide individualized high-quality care to people with a variety of personal health and nutrition related goals, including those who experience eating disorders. Nutritional counseling includes utilizing the nutrition care process in its entirety, helping clients understand their relationship with food, and providing education about intuitive and mindful eating. Our registered dietitians provide science-based education on a variety of health topics, collaborate with team members, and assist clients in meeting their nutrition goals.

1. Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patients’ nutritional status and needs
2. Develop personalized meal plans based on patients’ dietary requirements and health goals
3. Educate patients on intuitive eating habits, portion information, and food choices
4. Monitor patients’ progress and adjust meal plans as needed
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including therapists and medication prescribers, to coordinate patient care
6. For IOP staff, provide supervision during onsite meals, contribute to nutrition curriculum for groups, coordinate restaurant and grocery shopping outings
7. Maintain confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and client’s rights
8. Provide thorough clinical documentation in all electronic charts
9. Participate in monthly case staffing meetings and monthly dietician staff meetings
10. Stay up to date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition
11. Provide guidance on specialized diets
12. Demonstrate support of Chrysalis Center’s mission, vision, and values.
13. Comply with the policies and procedures manual, confidentiality standards, and the Code of Ethics outlined by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
