Tamera Treadwell is an intern at Chrysalis Counseling Center, as well as a third-year clinical doctoral student in the General Clinical PhD program at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She coordinates a National Institutes of Health funded study examining alcohol use, childhood trauma, and brain function with EEG. Tamera has experience working in an outpatient clinic at UNCW’s General Psychotherapy and Assessment clinic, and her training has focused on the use of cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior skills. Her clinical interests include childhood trauma of interpersonal origins, mood disorders, and PTSD.
