Lyndsey Young is a warm and inviting licensed professional counselor with over 13 years of experience in the field in various settings. Lyndsey is specialized in treating adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma through individual and family counseling.
Lyndsey is most passionate about supporting adolescents and their parents as they navigate the challenging and complex road to recovery from disordered eating.
She incorporates a variety of therapeutic approaches with clients and believes in meeting the client where they are at and creating a safe and effective space for processing struggles and experiences that brought you to the place where you are seeking professional help.
Lyndsey identifies the relationship is key to healing, along with effective and strategic interventions. Together, you will create an intentional space for healing, growth, and change.
Lyndsey obtained her BA in Oregon from Concordia University and her MA from Saint Martin’s University in Washington State.
Lyndsey moved to Wilmington from Arizona but is originally from Washington State. Out of the office she enjoys spending time with her teenager and German Shepherd, Nitro.
