Lizzie is a registered dietitian who has provided nutrition services in a variety of settings including universities, a residential treatment center, and outpatient clinics. Lizzie is also a board-certified specialist in sports dietetics, and she is passionate about helping athletes compete and live to their utmost potential, as well as retired athletes transitioning out of their sport. She is passionate about helping people recover from eating disorders. Her goal is to provide clients with resources, tools, and education that empower them to learn and develop joyful, sustainable relationships with food, movement, and their bodies. Lizzie practices and teaches a mindful, compassionate, and non-diet approach to nutrition.
Lizzie completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition-Dietetics at Auburn University while competing in Cross Country and Track & Field. She then completed her accredited dietetic internship through the University of Minnesota – The Emily Program, which is the only internship program in the country that specializes in eating disorder treatment. Lizzie then worked for The Emily Program as an admissions specialist and as a registered dietitian for outpatient, IOP, and PHP levels of care for eating disorders and substance use disorders. Lizzie then pursued her Master of Science in Sport and Exercise Nutrition at Loughborough University in the United Kingdom.
Upon her return to the United States, Lizzie completed the CPSDA Gatorade Sports Nutrition Immersion Program through Purdue University while working with athletes from the football, tennis, cross country, and track & field teams.
