Kaitlyn Patterson is a licensed psychological associate who has worked as a therapist providing individual and group therapy for adults in Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs. She enjoys providing outpatient therapy for adults and adolescents utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT and RO-DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion-Focused approaches. Although Kaitlyn treats a variety of psychological problems, she specializes in eating disorders, substance use, anxiety, and women’s issues. Her therapeutic style is collaborative and flexible by working with clients to build a life that’s fulfilling based on each person’s values.
Kaitlyn graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Armstrong State University and received her Master of Arts in Psychology from UNCW where she wrote her thesis “A Brief Self-Compassion Meditation Intervention for Body Image”.
