Jay Tyszka is an licensed clinical social worker associate who completed her MSW Internship at Chrysalis before graduating from UNCW in May 2019. Jay enjoys working with both adults and adolescents. She has experience advocating for homeless, runaway, and foster youth, as she worked with high risk youth in a residential setting. Additionally, her experience at Rape Crisis Center of Coastal Horizons provided Jay the opportunity to shadow individual and group therapy for survivors of sexual trauma and their children. Jay’s special areas of interest include eating disorders, trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, and depression. She obtained both her Master of Social work and Bachelor’s in Social Work from UNCW.
