Madilyn Dombrowski is an intern in her first year of UNCW’s Master of Social Work program. She received her bachelor of arts degree in Psychology from UNCW where she studied the relationship between Adverse Childhood Events (ACEs) and binge-drinking behaviors as an undergraduate research assistant.
Madilyn incorporates different evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Person-Centered Care, and Trauma-Informed Care. She has an interest in working with individuals, specifically adolescents and young adults, experiencing eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Madilyn is passionate about ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for her clients. She strives to empower individuals and build trusting relationships with them through a nonjudgmental space for optimal growth.

Madilyn currently works in Chrysalis Center’s IOP for eating disorders as a Recovery Advocate.
