Lillian is a licensed psychological associate who has experience with group and individual counseling in non-profit, private practice, and substance abuse treatment settings. Before joining the Chrysalis Center, Lillian worked for several years in a non-profit substance abuse treatment center as a regular and intensive outpatient therapist. Her areas of clinical focus include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and substance use disorders. She enjoys helping clients improve self-esteem, increase assertiveness, and manage stress. Her primary treatment modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. Lillian earned a BA in Psychology and an MA in Clinical Psychology with a Substance Abuse specialty from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
